This is a poorly designed dome. Apparently, fly balls have been known to hit the rafters. Also, it's easy to loose a fly ball against the white dome background. I saw players struggling with those fly balls throughout the game.

Stories from the Road
To get to the game, I drove 8 hours straight from Atlanta to the Rays game, watched the game (3 hours) and then got back in my car and drove another 4 hours to Miami.
Highlights from the drive from ATL to TB include:
1) Getting a speeding ticket on my to the game from Atlanta (about an hour south of Atlanta). The cop was not willing to negotiate in any way and I was slapped with a painfully expensive ticket.
2) Ate at a Waffle House
3) Passed two of the biggest Confederate flags I have ever seen
I was slightly concerned about whether or not my car would be safe when I parked it in what looked like someone's backyard on an open 1 acre lot that was not paved. I asked a nearby traffic cop if my car would be safe. His response: "It's as safe as it can be." That was just the reassurance I was looking for. During the game, a fan ran out onto the field. As is typical in incidents like this, he was quickly tackled and escorted off the field in handcuffs as the crowded cheered.
